At just 10 years old, I learned how to braid, and even then, my skills were advanced for my age. Throughout high school, I kept braiding, but I eventually tried working a "real job" in the corporate world for a while. This time away helped me improve my people skills and learn more about business. 

Life took an unexpected turn, prompting me to revisit my true passion after a heart-wrenching experience. Remembering a prophecy about my cosmetology and entrepreneurial abilities, I realized that life is too short not to pursue what you love. With unwavering support from my husband, I enrolled in cosmetology school; the rest is my HERstory.

Now a licensed cosmetologist, I'm excited and committed to nurturing my gift and teaching other braiders how to thrive as a Braid Business Coach.
